Conversations often don’t work with my Dad. His vocabulary which was once so vast and brilliant and colorful dwindles daily. He is sleeping on most of the days that I visit him and cannot be roused.

Sugar; in any and every form

This is the face of Alzheimer’s. This is love. This is struggle. This is giving a bit of your peace of mind in order to see one smile. Dietitians be damned.
